The speculative early queen sacrifice in the Leningrad Nimzo-Indian has been regarded as unsound since it was comprehensively analysed by Vladimir Zak some time ago. But Michael MacDonald Ross in the Batsford book on the opening suggested that it is perhaps worth trying if there is reason to suppose that the opponent does not know the theory.
