Team Competitions 2017/18 Season | ||||||
Entries for the County Shield have been received from Carrick (2 teams), Camborne, Newquay, Penwith, Liskeard. It was agreed that this be a double-round all-play-all. Entries for the Roberts Cup have been received from Bude, Calstock, Carrick (2 teams), Camborne, Newquay, Liskeard. It was agreed that this be a double-round all-play-all. Entries for the 500 League have been received from Bude, Calstock, Carrick (2 teams), Camborne, Lerryn, Penwith, Liskeard. It was agreed that this be played in two regional sections with the winners of each section contesting a play-off to determine the competition winners. East section: Bude, Calstock, Lerryn, Liskeard. West section: Camborne, Carrick (2) Penwith. |

There was a lengthy discussion of the question of matches between distant clubs It was agreed that, particularly in view of Rule 14 (Rules applicable to team matches) any clubs concerned should plan such fixtures early in the season. The possibility of Saturday or Sunday matches in these circumstances was discussed and it was agreed that if both clubs wished to do this they should seek the consent of the League Secretary which would not be unreasonably refused. | ||||||

It was agreed that the membership fees payable by the clubs for team competitions should be at the following rates:

Grand Prix | ||||||
As organiser of this competition Ian George reported that it did not appear to attract sufficient interest to justify the considerable administrative effort required to organise it. It was therefore agreed that it be discontinued. | ||||||
